The Peace Symbol

You know the peace symbol that people are wearing. The first meaning was that it was anti christ, it meant that the symbol was a broken upside down cross, then the hippies wore it, but now days it's a sign of unity and peace. Do you think it is wrong to wear the peace symbol?

The Cross
by: Anonymous

The only symbol that I wear is the Cross. It represents our Lord and Savior and what he did for us. I did not know that the peace symbol used to represent the Cross upside down and broken, but it doesn't suprise me either. 1 Thessalonians 4:13 through 1 Thessalonians 5:3 Talks about the coming of th Lord. 1 Thessalonians 5:3 specifically says "While people are saying, "Peace and safety," destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. And all the way back in Daniel 9:27 the Bible talks about the anti-christ and it says "He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.' In the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him." This covenant that is spoken of is a covenant of peace. A false peace. I hope that helps you understand in someway. If you want more answers dig into the Bible. It is all in there.
