God Heals Broken Hearts<3

I see how I am,

I know who you are,
The girl who hides all her ugly,
Battle scars.

The girl with cuts on her wrist,
And tears in her eyes,
An empty stomach,
Its growls your lullaby.

I put on makeup,
To cover who I am,
Cover my shame,
But no one figures out my plan.

The girl starving herself,
And popping diet pills,
The girl hiding razors,
In a life that plummeted down hill.

Crimson tears,
And silent cries,
Shallow water,
And empty eyes.

And as the rope hangs,
Around my neck,
The voice comes,
And you're thinking "What the heck?"

Why am I here,
What will this do,
Am i really so desperate,
That Ill die too?

So i put down the knife,
And take off the rope,
And God's quiet voice,
Fills me with hope.

So i eat quietly,
And show my scars,
And cry happy tears,
While i wonder how i could go so far.

Now ive found my dreams,
My hopes, my life,
And the people that love me,
Through all my strife.

You see, though i gave up,
Worried and doubt,
God still loved me,
And echoed his shout.

Im still his daughter,
No matter what I do,
So i know, God loves me,
But dont forget. He loves you.
