Terrified of what people think of me

I know God says we should only care about what he thinks but it is sooo hard not to care about what others think....

I am absolutely terrified of what people think of me...
I have been called ugly and gross and fat and these things make me feel awful.
they make me want to cry. I have cried because of this stuff before.
I hate how it makes me feel.... How do I not care about what people think of me? How do I become pretty? Please help? Thanks

no, i don't know what you look like, but i think you're beautiful. why can i say that? because God makes all things beautiful. He doesn't make anything ugly. you asked how to make yourself beautiful? just be healthy--eat right, excersise to stay healthy--don't over-do or under-do either. most importantly, run after God with all you have--that is what will make you the MOST BEAUTIFUL! GIVE YOUR ALL TO HIM! He loves you and thinks you're absolutely positively gorgeous! He feels your pain when the other kids are mean to you. He views it as them telling that to Him, because you're HIS! you're HIS PRINCESS!

I am so sorry you feel this way but what I have to say I hope gives you comfort. God does not make mistakes and or anything ugly. God does not judge a person by how they look but by their character, when you are happy and love yourself with a confidence GOD wants you to have he makes your beauty show through who you are. When your renew your mind people start to love you, see your beauty ,admire and want to be like you because of who you are and how you act. And this is so much more then physical. Please Read 1 Peter 3:3 everyday 3

Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. 4 Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.

35 So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded
