Shouldn't everything be okay

I've been feeling lonely for a while now. Its almost unbearable. I dont have a boyfriend,and i kind of want one, cause yes, i have God, friends,and family but i feel so alone. I cry because im the only one without a boyfriend. I just feel so lonely,and i asked God, and im waiting, but i feel this unbearable loneliness, that breaks my heart and makes me feel hopeless. I know a boyfriend doesnt help you praise God, but being depressed and not understanding why doesnt help either.

My friends keep telling me one, day,but they are all have happy relationships, and when your the third wheel is an horrible feeling. I feel so alone, and i no one understand how i feel except one person and God, but i feel so alone?

why do i feel so alone, i have God, shouldn't everything be okay?

im goin through the same exact thing right now
but i think that its normal to feel that way especially at our age(im 15)
ad its probably just something that you need to pray about
or just try ur best to not think about how everybody else has a boyfriend
thats what i do

but dont feel bad bcuz u dont have a boyfriend yet because having one at our age isnt really as great as everyone makes it seam to be
guys are really immature now
ive seen how my friends boyfriends act and im shocked at haw childish guys are at our age

Hi,

I know exactly how you feel because I've been there too. (And for the record I don’t have a boyfriend!) Although I was saved there was still a desire in my heart for a guy. I'm still in my teens and so you can imagine the struggle going on inside. I knew that Jesus was supposed to satisfy, but I could never overcome my loneliness (and I couldn't imagine holding out till I met the guy I would marry!). But all that changed when I came to a point of spiritual emptiness where I desperately needed to meet with God. And when I totally gave up hope of ever being a real Christ-centred Christian that’s when God really met with me and shocked me into His reality!

All this while I was trying to get something from God for my self and my pleasure. But He opened my eyes to see that I was bought. I was not my own. I had been stealing from Him the glory that He was due to receive from my life by doing my own will. I was His now. Completely His. And my life was now His responsibility , because He was now my life, my all. The old "I" was finished with.
I cant tell you enough now that Jesus satisfies. He does . Nothing compares to knowing Jesus. His love is amazing!

So my first question is are you filled with the Holy Spirit? God can totally satisfy all the desires in your heart but only if you yield to Him. You just can't fight this battle on your own. You need a Helper and that's the Holy Spirit. There will always be so many desires that seek to take the first place that God holds in our lives. Most often they are satan's tactics to get us off-track. The Holy Spirit is your strength in your daily walk. He will lead you and keep you. Go to God and don’t give up till you find Him as your all in all.

One last thing. These feelings will come and go. Let me give you an example. I hadn't visited a beach for quite some time and I was really waiting to visit one. But when I actually did make it to the beach, I was like "ok, the beach. " It taught me a very important lesson. A lot of times we feel like we need something or someone real bad, but when we do get what we want, we find that its just emptiness. So don’t let the devil keep you miserable. Jesus satisfies. And even if the waves seem to be dragging you down know that He is the truth- the reality. Don’t listen to the devil's lies that you need God + someone. He made you and He is the only one who can really meet your deepest needs. No guy in the whole world can, even if he appears to be "the one". God knows what you need and when. He loves you and waits to give you the best. In a time where there are a lot of compromisers stand true to Jesus and you will find, yourself, that He is more than enough.

I hope this song helps you lift your head and stand strong in Christ.

I’d rather have Jesus than silver or gold;
I’d rather be His than have riches untold;
I’d rather have Jesus than houses or lands;
I’d rather be led by His nail-pierced hand

Refrain:
Than to be the king of a vast domain,
Or be held in sin’s dread sway;
I’d rather have Jesus than anything
This world affords today.

I’d rather have Jesus than men’s applause;
I’d rather be faithful to His dear cause;
I’d rather have Jesus than worldwide fame;
I’d rather be true to His holy name

He’s fairer than lilies of rarest bloom;
He’s sweeter than honey from out the comb;
He’s all that my hungering spirit needs;
I’d rather have Jesus and let Him lead

(Rhea F. Miller)

Love and prayers,

Your fellow pilgrim in this journey

Blessed are they that waitma

I'm so proud of you girl. You've taken an important step you shouldn't feel depressed about. I have decided not to date, because I want to protect my heart and I believe that there is one person God has prepared for each of us girls. And I know, God will be only too happy to help us wait for the perfect timing instead of giving the love away. Girl you were made for one guy and don't let nobody tell you otherwise. Who cares if all them people have bfs, learn to grow in Jesus and glorify His name. These single years ain't coming back after a while. One thing I have found useful is praying for my future partner. Everytime I walk by couples or feel lonely, I get on my knees and pray for him. And I'm tellin you girl, nothing makes me more happy.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not upon your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths"
