SELF ESTEEM

Hi my name is Leslie Anne and I have low self esteem.. very low. Here's why:

1. My name is Leslie Anne, you know as a kid you would probably make fun of it and call me LESBIAN. well that's my life. i am not a LESBIAN, people just call me that because they think its funny but it really isn't. i mean i almost cry every night because of it, it is just so annoying what people say!

2. I get made fun of by "Popular people" cause I'm a little bit different or not as pretty or you know what i mean. well what they don't understand is that people like me have a VERY low self esteem and that some of us have it rough at home too, so they need to stop and think how they treat us before saying anything.

3. Well at home i get treated by my brother very poorly; like he is always calling me stupid and names that make my self esteem go really low. it hurts when i get made fun of.

i have nothing else to say i just wish that you would pray for me so that i don't feel like i am depressed all the time. i have friends, but you know, please pray!

Hello Leslie Ann, first of all you have a beautiful name! Precious, it is so important that you learn to love what God created. Ephesians tells us you are God's masterpices - His workmanship. Psalm 139 describes you Leslie Ann as being fearfully and wonderfully made. How cool is that? Think about the LORD God handpicking every minute detail of your being only for you to allow others to determine your worth. No Leslie, don't do that. Instead go to church and bible study so that you can grow in your ability to see things - yourself differently. As you grow in the knowledge of His love for you, Leslie Ann, you'll find yourself becoming stronger inwardly and it will also empower you to stop putting so much stock in the fickleness of man's opinions.
God loves you - that's the truth. Gos sent His Son for you Leslie Ann - that's the truth. We know that; but it's enough because you must know it for yourself. It's the Truth we know Leslie Ann that sets us free. If you don't know the truth in any given area then the enemy can deceive you into believing a lie.
You are special; chosen by God, and created for purpose. C'mon Leslie Ann, rise in power for you are armed now with Truth.
