As a follower of the Lord, having true beauty helps me get closer to God. Many times in the bible it says what a perfect woman is like, nothing in the bible says that we have to look a certain way or dress a certain way. Everyone is special on the inside, it just matters how you express yourself.
I took all the steps of the true beauty. I still need to work on step #1 though, its hard to give up your own hard earned money, but you feel really good once you do.
I am very excited to keep on my journey. I have gone through some hard times since I am in middle school. Feelings get hurt and things are said, but since God has helped me through I have gotten through those sad times.
For me and some other girls we have depression, which makes it difficult to feel good about myself. So in my situation God has really helped me out. It is very hard to get through some times, so following these steps to true beauty makes me feel like I am a good person. I blame myself for a lot of things that happen, but now when I pray and think about life I feel good, which is very hard for me.
This website points out a lot of different ways to feel good about myself as a girl. Thank you Shelley for creating this website, it has really helped me out as a teen.
