Normal to not so normal

by Depressed
(Ramsgate)

I am 14 years old. I was 13 years old and I was just a normal teenager like everybody else. It was a school day and I was at home ill. The problems started on facebook. People were calling me nasty names and bullying even people who were meant to be my best friends. I didn't go to school for a week. I was making my self be sick just so I didn't have to go. I eventually went to school and everybody hated me. There was horrible name calling and bad things happening to me. At first I was alright. I sat on my own during lunch but then things started to change. I got very lonely. One of my teachers came and spoke to me and I just burst in to tears. Then I realised I wasn't a normal teenager anymore. About a week later I turned to cutting. I used a pair of scissors. They wernt to sharp so I thought it would be ok. I kept doing it and it slowly turned into an addiction. I also started to starve myself. I felt there was a pressure to be perfect. Nobody knows about this yet and I'm slowly finding the courage to speak up. It was built up anger that I was waiting to get out. But I didn't know how to!
