My life my pain and self injury

This is my story.


When i was 12 years old, I was living in Detroit Michigan and my neighbor across the street molested me. But i never told anyone until I moved to Wisconsin in the year 2005 . by that time it was too late to really do anything .

Also in the year 2005 one of my closest friends was killed in a horrible car accident on his way up north.

I never talked to anyone about how I felt and I started self injuring. I even tried to kill myself.I was even placed in a mental health hospital for the duration of 4 days. It was a very traumatic time for me because I was dealing with the death of my best friend and the huge move that just happened.

But before I moved to Wisconsin i accepted Jesus Christ as my lord and savior. But even though I know God is there. I still turn towards self injuring when times get rough. I don't know why.

Also in the year 2005 one of my best friends killed herself. That was really hard for me to deal with because I was on the phone when she did it. That was one of the most horrific experiences I've ever had to go through. Just knowing that she was in pain and I couldn't really do anything but sit there and listen while she did that.

Many times,

you may feel like no one understands your pain, and your walking all on your own. The truth is that your not. I myself have had similar experiences, and I have been in a mental hospital. The reason why you self harm is because that voice that tells you that your not worth it, and to do it and you will feel better, That is satan.

You gave your life to christ, and satan is going to do all he can to destroy that, and you. Don't let him! I got through very rough times. When didnt think that I was going to get up and live, I did. It was all because of God.

Your heart is in alot of pain, and suffering. The only way to get out of that and to let go and move on is through jesus. Jesus suffering on the cross shows us he loved us so much he was willing to die for us humans that don't deserve to be saved. but because we all need mercy and love and forgiveness, he did it.

Keep your heart & soul strong in Jesus. Remember that is where he lies. Your mind is the strongest weapon. Yout thoughts become thoughts and then to actions. Block off the thoughts. Rebuke them.

I will be praying for you. You also need to believe that you will be healed. That is how you get healed. If you have no faith, then how will it grow?

Let this moment that your reading this;

Be a moment where your darkest moments inside yourself not let you take control over you.

anonymous is right. satan is trying to keep you in this place of self-injury just as long as he can, but there is freedom in Christ. i am finding it myself. its definately not easy, but am finding that fighting for freedom from self-injury is definately worth it. just remember, if God is for you, then who can be against you? you have the best person possible on your side--God! He loves you sooo much and doesn't want you to hurt yourself. you can do this through Christ who gives you strength, and just think of what a testimony you'll have!God will use this testimony of yours for something positive in someone else's life!
