I have acne all over

by Amanda
(MY.)

I hope,I could vanish all acne, acne scars and skin discoloration (I think it is because I'm overweight). My face is very oily,I've tried to go to spa to cure my acne, but nothing works on me, it becomes worse. I've been called 'Monster Of Acne' by my primary school friends and now I'm 13 and I'm going to be 14... At my secondary school, for some reason, my classmate and his friend call me 'Monster'(I think it is because I'm fat, ugly, have to many acne..). Few days later, school is starting.. I cannot stand it.. Why all my friend don't have problems like me? I just want to kill myself.. And I don't have friend because of I'm ugly.. (ACNEEE ++ OVERWEIGHT = UGLY..) I don't have self-esteem..... I KNOW GOD IS JUST UNFAIR.. I'M UGLYYYYYYYY..... :'( ......

There is hope
by: S'ambrosia

Hon, I am so sorry to hear about how people have treated you. It's hard to hear the negative things people say about you without believing that they're true. You have so many voices speaking to you right now, most of them being negative, but you've got to tune in to the voice that is speaking TRUTH. God created you the way you are and He sees a beauty within you that others, even yourself, can't see at the moment. If you would begin to listen to what He has to say about you and believe it, you would see it for yourself. You are beautiful and you've caught God's attention that's for sure. Think about that for a second, the guys around you may not be able to see how beautiful you truly are, but you catch the eye of the King!

"Listen, daughter, and pay careful attention:
Forget your people and your father’s house.
Let the king be enthralled by your beauty;
honor him, for he is your lord." Psalm 45:10-11

"You have stolen my heart, my sister, my bride; you have stolen my heart with one glance of your eyes..." Song of Solomon 4:9

Please turn a deaf ear to the voices of the world, and hear what the Lord is singing over you. How captivated He is by you. I pray that He opens your eyes in a new way so that you see things about yourself that you never saw before.

Ask the Lord to show you what He thinks of you, read Psalm 139, and begin to carry yourself as the beloved of the King instead of "ugly." Stop calling yourself that. The more you agree with that lie, the deeper it is embedded in your heart. Choose not to ever call yourself that again. Only repeat what you hear the Father say about you, okay?

My email address is sambrosiac@gmail.com and I'm on facebook as well. Feel free to stay in contact with me if you'd like. I'd love to continue to encourage you and to see the beautiful rose within you blossom as you come to a greater understanding of who you are in Christ.

Much love♥

beleiving the lie
by: Anonymous

In year five i was teased about who i was and the things i did. the more i let them do it the more i agreed and the more i beleived the things i did and the person i was, was a bad thing the more i became that person they said i was. so if they say your a monster...then think are you really a monster. do you really beleive god is unfair? don't beleive them don't be trapped into their lies. your very lucky to be alive and breathing.just think of those who are not living

i will pray for you as much as i can

Heart-Cry

I understand the acne problem, when I was about 13 or 14 I broke out pretty bad too!
Here are some steps to apply for fresh skin!
1. Every morning get a wash-cloth and run hot water over it. Not too hot, but it will cool quikly. Then hold the rag to your face, (this will open all those pores!) Do this a couple times and then use a oil-free facial rub, like apricot scrub or something with those little pieces of gel in it. Follow the instructions on that product and do this once in the morning and once at night.
2. Drink at least two bottles of water a day, I try to drink 4 quarts. Juice, pop, and others do not count! :)
3. Avoid very greasy foods, like fast foods and mexican food.
4. Shower every day or every other day, depending on if your hair is very oily.
5. Ignore those imature children at school and just be free! Those boys you were talking about? They will probably be a lot worse off then you this year. (Boys break out very, very badly!) Don't let their words hurt you, because Sweet Heart, God made you, even if you have greasy skin, and think your body is ugly, God is there and does care.
As for your weight, drinking water will really help, though I doubt you are ugly at all! :)

I want you to know, that all these tips need about 2 weeks or so to really see improvement, so don't be distressed, my sister, who is 12, had bad acne, and she washes her face now and hardly has any pimples at all!
You are beautiful! God made you beautiful! Don't you EVER EVER EVER doubt it!

Much love!
Emily.

You were made Captivating
by: Jess

I do too but it's okay, even when we don't see any beauty in ourselves or in the mirror we must trust God that he has made us with a captivating beauty.

It has just not be drawn out yet and that is okay.
A woman is most captivating when she is in love and we don't need to wait to draw that out when we meet a guy but instead know that God died on the cross so that you may be his.

That there is a chamber in God's heart that only you can fill.

Ignore what they are saying and maybe what you and/or you're mind is saying. Learn to listen and talk with God, and as you start walking through life joyful, filled with the overflowing unconditional love of God you will begin to flourish and his love will draw out your true beauty.

But if you are going to walk around head low believing what the kids at school and what the enemy is saying you are going to 'live' in according to what they are calling you. If you are letting them label you they are only going to limit you so that you won't be able to mature spiritually and you won't be able to live to the fullest as God wants you to live.

Because once you swallow a lie from the enemy, he can keep piling them on, this is what happened to me sometime last year ago please sister do not fall in this trap too.

Trust in the Lord and take care.

Sorry you feel that way

((((((((HUGS))))))))))))))))
You are so precious to God!!! You are not ugly sweetheart.

First of all, there is nothing wrong with a balanced desire to look nice and a desire to get rid of the acne, as LONG as your identity is not tied to it.

Some tips. Some people break out over dairy, believe it or not. Do you have a lot of dairy?
Perhaps you can switch to nonfat dairy products. Probiotics seemed to keep my acne under control. Trader Joes sells some for cheap. They won't harm you or interfere with medications.

Also, try investing, if your parents are okay with this, in a shower filter. THere is a brand called Sprite shower filter. It is very inexpensive and lasts about six months to a year. This gets alot of the chlorine out of the shower water.

Hope these things help. Hang in there.
