Help!

I went to camp recently. The pastor there gave us a challenge. The challenge was to tell someone you knew wasn't saved about Jesus within 3 weeks. Well, the only person I knew that wasn't saved was my uncle. Then if you made the commitment you threw your stick in the bonfire. Well, I really wanted to do it. But I wasn't sure if I would see him in 3 weeks. So I decided to send him one of those email gospel tract things that gets sent around to a bunch of people. But mom only had one that wasn't really relevant and I didn't want to just find one that would be "good enough". I wanted this to be effective. Before I knew, I missed the deadline. I was so disappointed. And now I don't know what to do! I can't find any good ones online. Any suggestions?

A Second Chance
by: S'ambrosia

Don't be discouraged! Just because the challenge deadline passed doesn't mean that you can't share the Good News with your uncle. I don't know if this is the real reason, but I think that maybe you couldn't find a relevant tract because that's not how God wants you to speak to your uncle. Why don't you try emailing him and starting a conversation about God with your uncle? I've found that evangelizing through relationship works so much better than tracts (those they're great, don't get it twisted). I think your uncle might appreciate it too;)

I pray that everything goes well and that the Lord uses you to bring your uncle to salvation!

do it for Jesus
by: lydia

dont lose the focus, dear! God doesnt set any deadlines. His ways are above ours. our disappointments are His appointments. Dont witness for the sake of a challenge. do it because the Lord you serve is worthy. trust Him to give you the right opportunity and the right words. He will!

One more thing to encourage you
by: Sarah

One more thing to encourage you! Remember that we are only vessels to be used by God. If we are open to God and the Holy Spirit's leading, and if we genuinely want God to use us, He will. He will open doors and show you what He wants you to do for Him.

And remember that it is not what we do, not what we say, but it is God who is working through us. It doesn't matter if what we do is not perfect. God is always perfect and He has the ability to work everything perfectly in His will and His time. So always trust Him above all things!
