Go out of your way, its worth it!

by Megan Erbele

I actually just finished buying my swimsuit yesterday. I have a tankini (really immodest top, comes down very low). I am wearing a dark smallish (any shirt will cling to you) shirt. It is not quite a tank top, but that would work equally well. I also bought a skirt that goes just above my knees. 60% cotton, 40% polyester. I probably won't be swimming so this might not be practical for everyone. I'm going to be taking pictures for a camp, so I thought I might get wet. I think its a great alternative. Sure you have to go out of your way, but I feel so much more comfortable! I don't want to feel ashamed for exposing so much skin.

Its funny how our standards of modesty drop when it comes to swimwear. If someone wears short shorts with their suit, it is considered much more modest. But if you took those same shorts and wore them at school, they would be considered immodest by most.
