Dating

Are dating years different? I've seen 12 year old girls writing about dating. In our country, adults advise that we can start dating at the age of 18-21 years because teenagers are in high school and we can't provide for ourselves. What I'm wondering is why date at such an early age. Shouldn't you wait until you're an adult.

Each culture does have their own standards. I do believe it's wise to wait until you're older, but I had my first boyfriend when I was in head start (4 years old). I didn't know what dating was back then. I was too young to think about anything other than what I saw on TV. If you are okay with waiting, then I totally encourage you to do so.
