classmate who is really hard to show God's love to

by worried classmate
(USA)

i go to a Christian school and i am a Christian. i love this site! anyways, theres this non Christian guy in my class. his favorite (and most frequently used) words are "gay", "lesbian" and "rape". he often randomly yells them, especially when hes mad. he also screams at people for no reason. i have nicely corrected him before, like "please take your feet off my desk" or "please stop talking during class". sometimes, i have to raise my hand and tell the teacher that he is distracting me. i have adhd, so its really hard for me to think when he's screaming at me. i pray for him and i try really hard to be nice to him, but its REALLY difficult. he is encouraging this kind of behavior in the other boys, and they are following him. they all think hes cool cuz he got kicked out of public school for some kind of touching girls (which he hasnt done at my school) and hes dated about 10 girls since august. the teachers dont do very much about his language or behavior. im frustrated and really worried for him and all the girls he dates. other than pray and try to be nice to him, what can i do?

Prayer Changes Things
by: S'ambrosia

As a teacher in a Christian school, I find it very surprising that your teachers don't do much to intervene in this student's behavior. That's very sad to hear. Have you spoken to your principal or any administrators?

The best thing you can do is to pray for him. I know you said that's what you already do, but if he's been kicked out of public school and the staff at your school don't know how to handle him, God is the only one you can turn to. He was always the one to turn to, but especially now. There is no situation too difficult for Him to handle, so offer it to Him. Have you heard the phrase, "Prayer changes things?" If you commit to be faithful to pray about this situation, I promise that you'll see a change in him. It will be the kind of change that can only come from God too. Trust me:)

I'm glad that you have a heart to see this boy change, and I'm positive that if you take your concern and give them in Jesus in prayer, things will change:)
