can't stop cutting

i cut myself. i dont really no why, but that i thought everyone was mad at me my parents found out and i stopped for a while but i started again i can't stop thinking about it every time i see something sharp or a piece of glass i think about it.

You can always STOP

You can always stop, that I can promise you.
I used to cut as well, to deal with the pain the hurt my heart. It gave me something other than the pain in my heart to focus on.
One day, I prayed for relief from both the physical pain and the emotional pain. God helped me to stop and He can help you too.
I'm going to ask you to do something. Everytime you think about cutting yourself, think about God. Everytime that knife hits your skin, it hurts God too. Think that when you cut, Jesus is standing right beside you. Watching you, wanting so desperately to stop and to go to Him.
You can always, always stop. Let go of your pain and let God. If you ALLOW Him to help you, you CAN stop! Praying always.

First I want you to know you are NEVER alone. God is there for you. And He LOVES you so much. I'm not sure that what I'm going to say is going to help you or not, but I pray that it does. You are fearfully and wonderfuly made in the image of God. Don't ever feel like the only way out of the emotional pain is physical pain. When you feel like you have no other choice but you harm yourself, cry out to God. I promise you He hears you and He cares. I'm praying for you. <3 Alyssa
