Called into a relationship : ) need help

I recently got back from a youth camp & God spoke to me & told me that my heart is ready for a relationship with a guy. We have been really building each other up in Christ and I am really excited. I've talked to him about this call in my life and he said he needs to get his heart right with God first, and he believes we can date once God gives him the o.k. signal. We both want to take it slow. I am scared because this is the first Godly relationship I've had, and the only true relationship. Any advice would be wonderful!!!

Young Lady listen to me and hear me well, God will not violate order, the man is the head, God must reveal it to the man first, for it is the man who must find the wife not vice versa.

Read your Bible again, and locate a scripture where the woman finds the man, or where God has revealed to a woman that this man is her husband. If you cannot locate it, then it is not GOD, and you cannot stand on it, therefore GOD will not support it.

Also know that you are to be equally yoked, this young man stated that he needs to get his heart right with GOD first. You already have your answer he is not ready and GOD would not yoke you to someone who heart is not right with HIM.
This young man is righteous in telling you the truth receive it and be blessed in it...otherwise the enemy will use you to destroy your life and his(young man).

God truly do have a plan for your life, for a hope and a future. Trust GOD, His word(The Holy Bible) is His Voice, read, meditate and do what is says, less you deceive yourself.

I think it's great that you have heard from God. If God has indeed told you that you are ready for a relationship with this boy, and you are sure it is from God, then keep praying about it.

Another thing I would want to encourage you is that sometimes what we hear from God is slightly influenced by our own heart. So you have to be careful that you aren't hearing your own heart, but that you are really seeking God and God's will.

From your message, I read that you love God, and you really want to do His work and follow His word, and you really want His will for your life. So I encourage you sister, to speak to your pastors and leaders about this. If your parents are also believers, speak to them about this. Because they are your spiritual guardians. And if God has confirmed this to you, He will definitely confirm it through other means. Don't rely on just one source. Usually God will confirm with at least one more source. Speak to your spiritual mentors, ask them for their experience, advice. Speak to people who know both you and the boy, and ask them if they agree that you both are ready for a relationship.

But do not get discouraged if you do not hear what you want to hear. Continue to seek God because He knows best and He wants the best for you. So if it is not the right time, just wait upon the Lord and continue hoping in Him, and at the same time developing yourself and growing yourself in Him.

Also, since this boy has told you that He is not right with God yet, I think this is a sign that He is not ready for a relationship. It is ok for you to be excited, I think it's only natural, but do not let your excitement be a form of stress or pressure to him, neither should you force your way. Indeed a man should lead the relationship, the man should be the one to pursue you and lead your spiritual lives.

But rest assured that even if this is not the man, God has already had the right boy planned for you. He has everything mapped out for you. You just have to love Him, love Him, love Him. Trust in Him and seek Him in all your ways.

Remember that God is always the most important thing in our lives. And God Himself is enough for us. Other than that, I wish you all the best and happiness in your future relationship. If you do it God's way, He will be pleased. Make sure God is the centre of your relationship.

it seems like u are very excited to have a God centered relationship, and i dont blame u! its an amazing blessing to have a boy love jesus as much as u do and to see how Christ reflects through both of you.

its great to take everything slow and get the o.k. from God, because that is what i had to do. and the guy who i am dating now waited for me until God said it was okay.

just remember to stay pure in your heart and in most importantly in your mind. and to always pray for the strength that you will need to stay strong in all the spiritual battles ahead, because there is ALOT
