<3 modesty

by Esther

I'm actually liberal Jewish but I have long felt uncomfortable with swimwear and clothing in general. I would suggest looking into swimwear geared toward Muslim women. I like http://www.ahiida.com/home.php for the wide selection of sizes but there are many more companies, some with detachable hoods if you don't want to cover your hair. Personally, I like the hair covering since it keeps my hair out of my face. :)

Modern fashion seems really anti-modesty to the point where I make my own clothes. It's really difficult to find clothes I don't feel naked wearing.

I'm with you, girl; let's not let them make us show more skin than we want to. I will be hitting the beach in a Burqini this spring and summer. The designs are very pretty and modest; I will no longer avoid swimming for lack of modesty. I'm also looking into making my own swimwear.

I wish you the best of luck. We may not be the same religion but we worship the same God and have similar goals. :)
