HELP! I have prayed to God to put me to work in his ministry. I feel like i'm being called to do his work i just dont know what he wants me to do.

just trust him

he will tell you what you need to do when the time is right
DONT rush it
God will tell you what to do when ur in the right place at the right time and maybe aroung the right people=)

Dear Adrianne,

It's great that you feel that you are being called. If you are still not sure that you are being called, maybe you should confirm this with your parents, close friends, pastors, elders in the church, leaders in the church and other people you respect and trust and who know you well. When God speaks, usually there will be others who hear the same message from God and they will be able to confirm with you whether you should go into full time ministry or not.

As to which area you should go into, this is something you should also talk to people in your church about, especially the elders, pastors and leaders. They will know where is possible for you to serve, whether within the church or outside (missionary work). You will also have to seek God a lot for direction, to trust in Him, but also to see what are your commitments (eg. family) that you may not be able to sacrifice at this point (eg. to go overseas for long term missionary work). You will have to really pray and listen to what God has to say.

But at the same time, do not limit yourself to things you are comfortable with, because God may want to stretch you and put you outside your comfort zone. But rest assured that whatever He tasks you to do, He will equip you to do. After all, He does not call the equipped, He equips the called.

So this is an exciting journey ahead of you! Give thanks and praise to God each step of the way as you explore your choices and surrender every part of your life to Him for His molding.
