by Alex
(california)

I have been told that I have it, but I don't think it is a problem. I won't be happy till I look I feel I should. I had a chance to do it, but I listend to people and now I have to wait till I can afford it. My mistake was not listening to myself, I could have my body the way I want it. I would be happy and ejoying life more. Go ahead and tell me what you think.

Kind of confused.

You had a chance to do it but now you have to wait until you can afford it? What is it that you are talking about here? :S I'm too confused to comment about that.
But I think I could totally relate to what you said. That your perspective itself isn't a problem since you would be happier if you looked the way you feel you should. I think so about myself too. But then again, I'm not sure about your reality and mine. For the longest time, I've always been lied to. Or at least this is what I think now, since not long ago, my mom started telling me that to be honest, I have just let my weight go. And that I am overweight and that it is crucial that I lose some weight! All this time until this point that she said this, all I've been told all the time was that I looked fine adn that I have a distorted body image.
I think I may have this disorder, then again I don't know for sure. Sometimes I think that I look the way I should, then at other times, I think I look grossly overweight and just want to scream at my reflection.
