My Mom, My Inspiration

This is a poem written by a 19 year old boy named Darren to his mother as a birthday gift.

My Mom, My Inspiration

As I look back on yonder year
I cannot help but see.
The person who was and is and
Always there for me.

Who taught me how to live my life
And how to find my place.
Who led me on life's narrow road
With beauty and with grace.

Who weathered all my storms
And sheltered me through grief and loss.
Whose gentle words and caring heart
Points ever to the cross.

If e'er I walk the errant path
Or stumble through through the rain.
She'd pick me up, her hand in mine
To lead me back again.

I love her not for what she's done
Nor blood or close relation.
But everything she is to me;
My mom, my inspiration.

Encouragement to mums
by: Sarah

May this be an encouragement to all the mothers who are reading this. Mother-hood is not an easy task, but it is a sacred one from God. He has anointed you specially for this ministry, and He is faithful to provide you with whatever you need along the way. When you seek Him, you will find the answers your heart desires. And one day your children will rise up and call you blessed. Just like this boy has called his mother blessed.

May you continue to guide your children to God, and may they seek Him first in everything. Pray over your children continually and trust God in everything!
