Whaaaaat?

by KarR

So there is this boy at my school, and, let's just say he's pretty cute. So almost every girl in our grade has dated him or at least had a crush on him - except for the "pops." Of course, I have a slight crush on him too, even though we hang out and act a lot more like friends than flirty. He's gone out with all my friends and none of their relationships have lasted for more than two weeks. Should this be a red flag for me? Do you think I should drop it and move on?

You deserve the best!
by: Amber

Hello sister,

First off I am going to say three words; FOR GET HIM! Obviously he does not have what it takes to do what it takes to have a healthy realtionship. Plus he has dated all of your friends. Girlfriend, you do not deserve anyone's slop beats seconds, in others words you do not deserve left overs. Let me ask you a question, would you eat or drink after people from the same silverwear? Exactly, so you should not fall over crazy for a guy that every one has had a piece of. As a child of God, you deserve nothing but the best. Secondly, sweet heart looks are nice but they are not everything. It does not define a person for who they are and what they will do and will not do. Have you ever heard of the old saying? Everything that glitters aint Gold? This is the perfect scenario dear and you need to know this. Never should you get excited over a guy for how he looks because if he does not have a good heart and a good attitude, he can be as ugly as a zit! LOL!

Hoped it helped!

God bless!

Freinds!
by: Heather

I would say that you should forget dating him, and just be friends. Wait until he is more mature to even consider dating him. My youth pastor once did a sermon about dating that has stuck with me ever since. Here is my version of it. I want you to look at him, and picture yourself with him when you are 80 years old sitting on the porch of your house. How do you picture the two of you? My guess is that it's a really funny picture. Next I want you to think seriously about all of his flaws and ask yourself if you would really be happy? Is this lust or love? If it's love then you need to wait and grow the friendship so that you know when it is time to develope it into something more it will be something that lasts, if it is lust you need to forget it and save yourself the heart ache that it will cause in the long run.
