Once You Start Cutting, It's hard to stop.

It all started in the 7th grade. It's a long story. I stopped in 8th grade for a bit. I was cutting on my upper legs, my first attempt was a razor blade from a razor. I broke it off, got the blade. I never felt so relieved in my life before, nothing like it. 8th grade i did it once or twice.


Now i am a freshmen in high school. It started when i went to a school i hate, i was cutting my upper arms, not that deep. I got transferred. I found a couple of X acto Knives, and started again on my arms, i started to wear long sleeves. I did it on my leg a couple of times.

A couple of days ago, my mom noticed some cuts on my leg and said "Been cutting yourself?", i got up and said no its from the cat, she believed it. My dad told me "I cant see you doing that. You are a good kid". WRONG! I am doing it and i cant stop. I realized how much i messed up and its getting even more worst.

Cutters need to stick together

yup im with you. my story is the same as yours, only that i cut on my sides and in my arms. i too started in 7th grade and now im a freshman but my parents don't know i cut. they just think im a wanna be goth kid or something and they hate it so they throw away all my black longsleeve shirts. i just buy more, so yeah i can relate to you.

All I can say is: pray. It works. But remember, when you pray for something, maybe God doesn't want it to happen RIGHT THAT VERY SECOND. It might even be 2 years. Just be patient.

im a freshman in college, i first started cutting my arms and the top of my hands, then i started cutting my stomach and my thighs... i honestly dont remember why i started cutting myself... all i know is that it gave me such an adrenaline rush it made/makes me forget everything thats was going through my head... and now i cant seem to stop myself, i keep telling myslef that im going to stop but i just cant seem to do so
