I cannot ease your aching heart,

Nor take your pain away;
But let me stay and take your hand
And walk with you today.

I'll listen when you need to talk,
I'll wipe away your tears;
I'll share your worries when they come,
I'll help you face your fears.

I'm here and I will stand by you,
On each hill you have to climb;
So take my hand, let's face the world...
And live just one day at a time.

You're not alone, for I'm still here,
I'll go that extra mile;
And when your grief is easier,
I'll help you learn to smile

God, it hurts:

I said 'God it hurts'
And God said 'I Know'
I said 'God I cry alot'
And God said 'That's why I gave you tears'
I said 'God I get so depressed'
And God said 'That why I gave you sunshine'
I said god I feel Alone'
And god said 'That's why I gave you loved ones'
I said 'god my loved one is dead'
And God said'I watched mine nailed to the cross'
I said God 'Where are they? '
And God said 'Mine is on my right and yours is in the light.
I said 'God it hurts'
And God said 'I know'

God Knows God Heals
by: Anonymous

Hello, after reading your poignant poem, I was moved with your style of writing. It's both dark and yet it whispers hope.
Hope is there because as you aptly described it, He is a Companion that promises to be with us always.
You're right; He does know. But what's so amazing is that He also heals. Only He has the power to turn everything around for our good and for His glory. He is a Comforter and is sure to strengthen feeble knees and heal those who are broken hearted. Our God is faithful.He is kind and good,new mercies await us each and every brand new day - as we trust Him, obeying Him even with faltering steps, our Sovereign God promises to bring us through. And the wonder of it all, is that after gone through, we are better, wiser and stronger - (that is so amazing to me) because of the knowledge gained from even the most challenging, gut-wrenching experience. He is God. He sent His Son to do for us what we could not do for ourselves - it was costly. It cost His Son's life, and yet He thought you and I were worth it. (Yep, still amazing...) So be encouraged dear by the power of His Word in Jeremiah 29:11 "I KNOW the plans I have for you"...Yes indeed, God knows.
What a beautiful poet you are - keep on writing and keep on trusting...God bless.
