Hi, my name is Heather Hart, and I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself to you. I am the co-author of the Teen Devotionals… for Girls! series and have taken over as the ministry director for FindYourTrueBeauty.com.

What does that mean?

Not a whole lot, but still oh so much.

Shelley Hitz founded this ministry in 2007 and it has continued to grow and impact thousands of girls across the globe. However, over the past few years, God has been leading Shelley to help Christian authors publish and market their books, and that’s where her main focus is right now. She is reaching millions through both her books, and the books she helps other authors publish for God’s glory. It’s amazing, really.

I worked with her training authors for several years, but I actually met her right here on FindYourTrueBeauty.com in 2008. Last year, I decided to step back from training authors so I could focus more on helping girls and women identify who God created them to be, and live for Him. So when Shelley approached me earlier this week about taking over this ministry I didn't hesitate to say yes!

I am so excited about continuing the mission of helping today’s teen girls find their true beauty in Christ. And I can’t wait to get to know some of you.

So what’s actually changing?

I have been working hard behind the scenes updating the website. So far it’s just been changing little things like faces, names, and links. I’ve also published a few of your submitted comments and posts that have been stored in the background waiting for approval.

There were a lot of them!

I still have tons to go through, but in general, I am deleting a lot of posts that are over a year old, so if you submitted something and don’t see it, please give me about a month or two and then feel free to resubmit.

I will also be working on updating the information on the website and hopefully getting some new devotionals added to our email list. I will also be working on updating the book, Mirror Mirror... Am I Beautiful? It is an amazing resource for teen girls that Shelley wrote in 2007 and we pray God continues to use it. 

More than anything, I want to thank all of you for your patience during this transition. I also want to thank all of you who have stood by us over the years, and welcome the many new faces.
