Future Relationship

by Allison
(New York)

From ages 5-6 I was sexually abused in the classroom... memories of this just came back about last year when I was 17. I have never had a boyfriend, never been kissed...nothing. And for the most part I like it that way, but what if one day I want a husband? I can't imagine myself being intimate with ANYONE. It scares me. How do I overcome that fear?

Your Future Is Bright Allison!
by: Anonymous

Allison, hello precious. Listen, the ONLY way you can go through that terrible situation is through salvation. Faith in Jesus Christ and acceptance that what He did - He did for you puts you on that path of healing, deliverance - forgiveness. You gotta learn how to apply the Word to your life, like a healing balm applied to open wounds, God's Word has the power to heal you Allison from the core of your being. Go to a bible study where you are taught how to "hear" God's Voice as you read His Word, that you "see" His goodness and love for you as you read His Word and is "changed" emotionally, mentally and physically by the power - the grace received as you read His Word with your increased understanding. You are a brand new creation - God's masterpiece; fearfully Allison, and wonderfully made. What happened to you does not define who you are - it only defines the tools you have to set others that had this thing to happen to them. Allow the power of God's Word to work it all together for your good and for His glory. No weapon formed against the child of God prospers - you are a triumphant, victorious child of the living God - beautiful, virtuous, priceless crown of glory by the hand of our God - your future is bright - your steps are sure for your Never-Leaving Companion is your sure Guide and lifter up of your head!
So rise up young lady! Square your shoulders and right now Laugh Out Loud for what the enemy thought would destroy you has only made you stronger through faith in Christ Jesus!
Amen precious, Amen.

Just have some Faith!
by: megan

Dear Allison,
I am now 17 and through out my teenage years I have been sexually abused. I was to the point when I didn't care what happened to me I regret this now,but when I was going through this i wished I would of just died. Until my one of my best friends told me the great doings of our lord and savior Jesus Christ. She told me to Pray and ask god to help me. One important thing you must do is have faith in Jesus. He died for us and he wants whats best for us and to see us happy. God has a plan for you and how he wants you to live your life. Trust me when I say this pray for someone and just keep your faith high. Please just believe God has someone special for you. All my life I was hurt and wanting somebody there for me. I would cry myself to sleep every night and pray he would send me somebody. Now I am with the most amazing guy ever. Hope this advice helps you! May god help and bless you!! You will be in my prays
Sincerely,
Megan
