This is my testimony and story of how God rescued me from brokenness and brought healing to my life.

Jeremiah 2:13, "My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken me,the spring of living water, and have dug their own cisterns, broken cisterns that cannot hold water."

Isaiah 61:1,4 "The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me,because the LORD has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners...They will rebuild the ancient ruins and restore the places long devastated; they will renew the ruined cities that have been devastated for generations."

Body Image Truth:
My value comes from God, my Creator, and not from my appearance and what others think of me.

God is teaching me this truth that my value comes from Him and not my outward appearance. It is okay to desire beauty -- it's a God given desire -- but not to base my self esteem on it.
