Vanity

Is it Vanity to think I am pretty? I do not rub it in or anything, I just do not see myself as ugly, I do not want to change anything... is it vanity to think I am pretty all the time?

nope. i dont think so.
for me, ive found myself pretty.
i used to think i was ugly but now i have found myself to be pretty.
God showed me that. He showed me I am beautiful in His eyes.
Its not wrong to think your pretty, but dont let yourself get it wrong... as in, thinking your better then anyone else.
thats when its wrong.

I belive in your case, it's called confidence. Which is GREAT! I find myself as pretty now, cause I focus on all the things God has given me, not all he hasn't. I focus on the things I like, and when I feel truly happy about myself, I notice people give me compliments. Plus, the other day, my friend told me how she thougt my eyes were the prettiest compared to the other girls, cause the other girls always bragged about theirs, while I didn't shove it in people's faces, and kept my beauty to myself. For example, you know how I talked about focusing about what God has given you. For me, I do focus on my eys, because, I once had a fishook get caught in my left eye,and the doctor said it was so close to severly damaging it. I could have lost one of my eyes!! So, I thank God for letting me keep it, also I believe true beauty is that girl who dosen't shove it in people's faces and has a personality that stands out.=-]
