Trying to lose weight

im trying to lose weight, im not fat......im just short 4 my weight.....ha. i am trying to lose 30 pounds or so. any helpful advice???? i am young so i hope it comes off fast...

The solution is pretty simple - learn to eat healthy and exercise. Sticking to that is a little more difficult but Christ has promised to provided us a way out when tempted and to not tempt us beyond what we can bear.
Learning to live healthy is a great habit to form and there are Christ based weight loss programs that you may try such as First Place 4 Health that I did, it teaches you to put Christ first and it touches on the four sided person: emotional, spiritual, physical and mental. It's also in a group setting that will allow you to have accountability and to discuss your struggle with each other. There is also a new book/program out called Fit for My King by Sheri Rose Shepard or you can also just figure out what your calorie intake should be for your age and height and stay in that range by eatting balanced meals from all the food groups. wanting to lose weight is just fine, as long as you really need to, but if you don't really need to, BE CAREFUL to not fall into the trap of an eating disorder. ITS NOT FUN! i'm still trying to come out of it, and its been several years now, with going into and coming out of it. God is helping me, and He'll help you to, but i would much rather not have to see you suffer with one and then have to struggle to have Him help pull you out. listen to what the lady above me said--eat a healthy well-balanced diet of fruits, vegetables, and the proper amount of carbs. carbs are a good thing--they're the kind of energy your body WANTS! where they become unhealthy is when you overdo it on them, but that can be with just about anything.
