“THE SWORD” by Angela Bierbaum
I see, I see
A blade in front of me
One with many jewels
And a handle
Made from stealth
I know, I know
That this sword
Is supposed to show
Me the different sides
Of myself
The first,
The ruby
Represents the fire
In my personality
The second,
The diamond
Represents my own
Individuality
The third,
The sapphire
Represents my
Distinctive personality
And, the fourth
The sunstone
Represents my
Punctuality
I feel, I feel
That this sword made from steel
Has meaning behind it all
So I’ll wait until I’m called
Up to fight
For the glory of God
I’ll watch, and I’ll pray
And hope to be His
Forever shining Knight
Girls,
I hope that you can use this as an inspiration to use your gifts and talents for the Lord. I thought I should make a poem that any reader VISUALIZE.
Every time you look at this, think of a few good qualities on your sword (yourself) that you could use to witness or work for God. And, I hope that you will have the opportunity to fight in His army, be one of his Knights, and use your sword against Satan.
God Bless,
