Struggling

by Chante'

I am fourteen years old, I weigh about eighty-five pounds, and I am five foot three. I have had anorexia ever since I was twelve and I hate myself.

I'm trying desperately to eat but, I can't eat without feeling like I'm going to throw up or I hate myself and glare at myself in the mirror for what feels like hours. I look at myself in the mirror and point out all my flaws, knowing I could be skinnier if I tried harder.

I constantly work out to the point of exhaustion, I barely eat, and I always feel lightheaded as if I'm about to faint. The only time I eat somewhat normally is when I'm eating with my family or my boyfriend buys me lunch knowing full well that I'd feel guilty. I'm trying so hard to eat but, it hurts too much so I constantly stop.

To every other girl out there: I know you guys can get better. Please eat, please be the healthy beautiful little shits I know you can be. Your body's are beautiful, yes but, would be so much more beautiful if you'd eat like you're supposed to. Please just try with me, even if it hurts.

Dear Chante'

What a great encouragement you are to other girls going through the same struggle you are. Thank you for that. I'm praying for you in your own struggle. If it hurts to eat, you may want to talk to your parents or see a doctor. Maybe they could help.
