Stress, Depression, ANOREXIA

One of my very good friends was going through a very tough time. she was very stressed. her parents were never there for her and nobody really seemed to care about her.

i was the only one who she could come and talk to. on day she came to me in and told me that she thinks she is anorexic. she had lost 20 pounds and she was still losing weight. she said she didnt want to keep losing weight because she didnt feel good. she said she felt very weak and frail.

later she was taken to a doctor who diagnosed her with anorexia and depression. she didnt think she is depressed but she did belive she ahd an eating disorder. about a year later she ended up in the hospital and they were feeding her through tubes. i went to the hospital to see her and she was very pale. she looked ill. i thought she was going to die. right there in the hospital i started to cry. she was my best friend.

after my epiode she realized why i was crying and that helped give her the motivation to recover. now three years later she has made a full recovery. all because she didnt want to hurt the one person who really cared about her. she is like a sister to me.

she is healthy now and she lives with me and my mom. away from all the stress that caused her to become anorexic and depressed in the first place. she was my best friend and now my sister.
