I'm a 14 year old girl that has been struggling lately. I found Christ in 2007. But i feel like we are drifting apart. I have cut looking to keep my mind off my problems. I've been Bullied since grade 1. I'm still having problems. After i was called fat about 3 months ago i started making myself throw up. I guess i just wanted to be accepted by my peers. I've thought about suicide before but I know god wouldnt want me too come untill he wants me too. I just feel so lonely at school. i go to youth groups and I got to go to your talk this weekend, but it seems like no matter what i do i can't escape the struggles i'm facing. i know i need to get closer to God. So Lately things have been getting a little better but not alot. I've stopped cutting and im no longer bullimic. That seems like a good start. But im still struggling. And i still looking for Christ. I just need to know how to get closer to him to find the shelter i need. Can you Help?

Hi

I can feel your pain. :( I was also bullied before and bullimic (but it's not worst). Now I'm different and I'm now a stronger woman than before because of GOD. :) I'm glad that things are getting better now for you. I suggest that you read the Bible daily , Search for scriptures about the things that bother you in the internet like " Scriptures about Courage / Faith etc. " and meditate on a scripture. , Always Pray to God , Ask him for strength and happiness. Just keep doing those things. It's not easy but always remember and BELIEVE that nothing is impossible to God. Just rely on him. :) YOU NEED TO STRENGTHEN YOU FAITH TO GOD ALWAYS!!!

Cast your burden upon the Lord and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. - Psalm 55:22 (NASB)

Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord. - Psalm 31:24 (KJV)

God is our protection and strength. He always helps in times of trouble. - Psalm 46:1 (NCV)

Every child of God can defeat the world, and our faith is what gives us this victory. - 1 John 5:4 (CEV)

Without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. - Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)

Everything is possible for him who believes. - Mark 9:23 (NIV)
