Me and Fernando

Hi, my name is Aileen. I'm 19 and dating this guy named Fernando. He's 16, but very mature. He helped me come back to the Lord's feet. Now I'm His proud servant as well as he is. We've been together for about 10 months now and noticed that since we are too comfortable with each other, we've become more physical. We never allow lust to enter our minds, yet we find that it was a way to show our love or affection to each other. We were pretty much "dry humping" and some physical contact. After reading the article, it shocked me to find out that physical contact with genitallia was still considered intercourse. This really got to me since I was sexually active before changing and do not want to go back. On the other hand, he is a virgin and I don't want to become a rock that he might fall and trip. I ask that you may pray for us so we will have the strength that we need to stop and break any plans the Devil has for both of us because I'm sure that we are and will become greater instruments in God's hands. Thank you so much and any advice is appreciated :)

Any feeling apart from the above is lust. Lust says, Let me have sex now in case I can never show "love". Satan is very sly, he can even distort feelings and even God's Word. If you cannot handle being sex free it is best to seperate as fornication can even hinder your life with God. Not only that you have a great future ahead of you. A baby will simply destroy the relationship. I am praying for you.

I'm definitely praying for you guys! I know that it is easy to accidentally slip down that slope to sexual immorality.

If I could give a few words of advice... I think you two should sit down together and make very clear, precise guidelines about your physical interaction. Guidelines you both understand, and guidelines that you will enforce with each other.
A good one is to do nothing alone that you wouldn't do with both sets of your parents watching.
Pray about these guidelines you set up, and if you think that one of them may be too vague or easy to overstep... then take a bigger step away from that line.
Guard your physical AND mental purity with everything you have!
One time I heard a great answer to "how far is too far with your boyfriend/girlfriend?" One guy said, "Too far happens the instant your thoughts are sexually immoral, no matter what your body is doing."

It's tough. But with your own prayers and the prayers of myself and everyone reading your post, I believe you can do it. When you are weak, Jesus is strong!
2 Corinthians 5:17 says, “Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!”
and I found a good verse on strength. I put the longer, in context version here for you!

Isaiah 40:28-30 (New International Version)

28 Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.

*****29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.*****

30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
