Prayer for a husband

by Carole Reed
(Orange, CA )

Carole as Liz Taylor

Carole as Liz Taylor

Hello,
My name is Carole and I am asking for prayer for a husband. I have been single for 30 years and I want to share my life with someone. I dated a man for 9 years no sex believe it or not. January of this year he called and said he was daing a 50 year old and he is 63 and he took her to a movie, bought her a gift and took her to dinner. I passed out on the floor I never expected this from him, he just didn't seem like that kind of a man but boy was I wrong. To make a long story short we made up and then this past month he said she was taking him to the airport to go back east and he rejected me after he told me he was not seeing her any more and he lied to me. I have been on anxiety pills again and I would really like to have him back but I am sure that is not going to happen. He does need prayer as he has never been saved. I need prayer for direction in my life I feel lost and not sure what to do or where to go next.
Thank you, He said she looks like a movie star and I am one I do appearances as Liz Taylor have been doing it for over 30 years and traveled all over the world but none of that meant anything to him it was that she was so beautiful and she has blonde hair and I guess I am nothing to him please help me pray for his salvation he has never been saved.
Carole

Its not about how you look when it comes to God. God loves us. I am praying for you.

We will pray

Hi Carole, read your post and will pray that you coninue to grow strong in the Lord.
There is a passage in the Book of Ruth, that says (paraphrased) "it was revealed to Boaz who Ruth was..." I like that because it tells me, as I continue to work in the Lord's harvest field, my Boaz would see me, would know who I am "that good thing given because God has highly favored that man."
Carole, it's a process being satisfied single. It's a challenge but it's worth it because you don't settle. You recognize the futility of casting your pearls before swine - in short, you prize yourself as being too valuable to give yourself to someone who does not appreciate your worth.
Appreciate how God sees you; He sent His Son to redeem you. It's worth it Carole, to wait for the man that shares and appreciates that God-given revelation of who you are.
Carole, there is an admonition found in scripture, "whatever state we find ourselves in, therewith be content".
God bless.
