My Prayer for Young Women!

Wow! I knew that models were airbrushed to have the appearance of flawless skin, but I had no idea that with computer graphics the actual POSITION of their heads and eye brows and SIZE of their eyes could be changed! Seems very unfair.
Don't you wonder what you would look like if you had a team of 25 professionals working on you, including a computer graphics specialist to tweek your picture? We'd ALL be supermodels!! HA!
And really, true love isn't based on what you look like at all! So the media is dangling a carrot that isn't really worth chasing. My husband picks the most strange times to tell me that I'm beautiful -- like on days my hair is in a ponytail and I have no make up on and baby spit-up on my shirt. And I'll look at him with this "You've got to be kidding" look, and he'll say, "No, I'm serious, I've been thinking about you all day. . ."
I pray that all the young women reading this site would be encouraged to just be yourself and not waste incredible amounts of tears and effort and energy into your appearance, allowing God to bring the guy into your life that thinks you are beautiful no matter what! That's the one you want! :)
