My cousin needs strength...

My parents haven't told me the whole story, and I am praying for her as well.

I just have such a burden for pre-teen/teen girls, but this situation bothers me even more since she is my own family member.

Our uncle was discovered to be touching/looking at my cousin inappropriately. She is sixteen. My grandparents seem to be just sweeping it under the rug, hoping the situation will go away. The authorities were contacted by the church member my cousin told, and her mother, my aunt, is no longer allowing my uncle to go over to their house. Attorneys are already involved, and some of the right steps are being taken (I was proud of my aunt for getting in her brother's face about what he did to my cousin), but they do need more prayer.

They need prayers for strength and comfort. And that my uncle will get his act together and people will stop sweeping this problem of his under the rug. He needs to be confronted by other family members of his besides his sister, or he will never change.

So yes.. I would dearly appreciate more prayers for my cousin and our whole family.
