Look back and laugh

School again. A depressing time for all. Have you noticed that over summer your confidence steadily grows and grows until you can actually look in a mirror and think, "Hey, you look great." People compliment you, calling you gorgeous, stunning, even sometimes you're referred to as an angel.
And then you go to school and suddenly you're fatter, your skin's all spotty, your eyes are all small and pig like, and your uniform is the most unflattering outfit imaginable. Everybody's looking and whispering, judging, always, always judging. Your confidence has fallen back down to where it started and all you want to do is hide away forever and never get up from bed.
It's school. When it's over, you'll be beautiful forever and you'll look back and laugh at what seemed like the end of your life. When you're older, you'll choose your friends, choose what you want to be, and not have that nagging old peer pressure on your back all of the time.
It's called adolescence girls. You just have to accept it. Nothing bad lasts forever.
