Jewish perspective on modest swimwear

Thank you for posting such a great article.

Orthodox Jewish women and girls (over the age of three) conform to a strict standard of modesty that prescribes specifically what has to be covered in public, and there is no difference between the supermarket and the swimming pool. While the standards vary slightly in different communities, women and girls either swim separately or in very modest swimsuits that may look like a top and below-the-knee skirt or a long tunic and leggings. If they are made of quality swimsuit fabric and are not too baggy, they are very comfortable to swim in, are lightweight and offer plenty of freedom of movement.

I designed some suits that you may like, they are available at http://biblicalgarden.com.

I love it!

I love the swimsuit pictured. I wish these style suits were more affordable. It's cute, sporty, and gives good sun coverage. Some of my Mennonite friends might swim in something like this.
