its's not much, but its me

i dont have that story that your preacher always tells you. about the girl who was addicted to sex, or drugs, or alcohol and found Jesus and turned her life around. thats not me. and for the longest time it seemed to me that if you didnt have a story like that you couldn't influence others around you. i feel like i haven't done everything for God since i became saved. any ways i'll stary from the top.

it was the summer between 4th and 5th grade for me and i was at a champ our church has for our 1-6th graders. i was stuck right in the middle, but luckly my grade at church has always been a big one. wll the whole week i had felt God tugging at my heart, and on the last night, wednesday, i decided to do something about it. i sill remember it like it was yesterday. the guy that was leading worship was still giving the lesson and i made up my mind. so the invitation or what ever you wanna call it started, and i waited. finally i just gathered m strength and went. i ended up talking to our pastor's wife and i prayed and bcame a christian that night. probably the coolest thing i remember about being saved was the first time i had the lords supper. the few times we had it between august an Christmas i had been out of town, so my first lords supper was at our Christmas eve service. i remember this because it was my uncle's last Christmas. and i don't know why, but i still remember that night. i was so excited that they weret going to pass the plate over me. i had on my flannel footie jammies that were almost to hot to manage and i was so excited. i nearly spilt my grape juice. anyways. so as a young kid i really didnt understand all the things that were expected of me. i tried to have a quite time, but things always came up. so this past week at camp i could really feel God telling me that i need to turn my life around for him. he wanted me to make a difference in someone's life and showed me tht a way to do this was to start an online free teen girls bible study.

You go girl!

Dear Magen,

Not everyone has been part of that story, of being addicted to drugs or sex and then finding Jesus and He turns our lives around.

But I think we all can and should testify of how God has changed our lives, even in the small ways. If there hasn't been a change since we've accepted Christ, then there would be something seriously wrong.

And I think that in your own life, you have already experienced Christ, and how He speaks to you. And that is your testimony, that is your life, that is what God wants to do through you. So don't undermine your own experiences and what God has created you to be!

I think the online blog you have started is great. Keep on writing in it. I pray that God give you wisdom and discipline to write whatever He tells you to. So that you will be able to impact other peoples' lives through it.

Continue to listen to God and pray continually!
