I am the rain

by Deanna
(Troutdale, Oregon)

I sit and stare.

Out the window.

Without a care.

Time passes.

Rain falls.

I see life pass me by.

I want to cry.

I lose again.

Another friend.

Wish I could understand.

This life.

The way things work.

I'm now starting to bend.

Into reality.

Finding myself.

I am human.

Mistakes are made.

some forgotten.

others never to be forgiven.

Life goes on.

And your path I choose too follow.

Now.

The one you layed at my feet.

Before my birth.

Before existance.

I am you child.

You saved me from myself.

Let me live in your name.

Let me be the rain.

Who falls where you lead.

And does not question your judgement.

Your plan.

Your way.

I am me.

I am the rain.

Yes Deanna Be The Rain
by: Anonymous

Well said Deanna, yes be the rain - be the one that allows guilt, blame, and shame, regrets and pain to wash away from you. Yes precious, be the rain that waters the soil in your heart so that blooms of hope, trust, love and forgiveness could grow in abundance to share with another thirsty soul. Well said Deanna, dear one be the rain!
Please keep writing!
