Help

by Holly Day
(South Dakota)

I am 15, about 5 ft 2 in and I now weigh 80 pounds. Three months ago I weighed about 91 pounds. Because I gained weight over the summer, I went on a diet to lose enough weight to get my stomach flat. About a month and a half ago, I got to my desired weight. But I am now afraid to eat enough food that is healthy because I am afraid I'll get fat. I do not have any friends that I trust and my family does not know I am afraid to eat enough; although they have been commenting that I've been eating small dinners. Any suggestions? Please pray for me.

Tell Someone
by: Heather

Sweet Holly,

Anorexia can be so dangerous, and living in fear is no fun. But you already know that. There is nothing that I could say that would reach through this computer screen and into your heart.

But I do want to encourage you to tell someone. You don't trust your friends, and your family doesn't know. So tell them. Tell your mom. Tell your sister. Or if you can't bring yourself to tell them, tell your favorite teacher. Tell a doctor. Tell someone who is there. Someone who knows you personally and can do more than tell you without seeing you that you are beautiful no matter what you weigh.

From my end, I will be praying for you. Your worth and beauty is given to you by God, and not something you will ever earn by stepping on a scale. 80lbs or 800lbs you are loved by God and His will for you does not change.

Words Of Encouragement
by: Kristine

Dear Holly:

I want to offer you some words of encouragement in your time of struggle.

God loves you Holly. He made you.

(Psalm 139:13, For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb.)

I know you are having a hard time, and I will be praying for you.

Best wishes,
Kristine

God is with you cuteness
by: Yyana

you know what to tell the truth all things are there for a reason.
Dear its not that the Lord hates you ,he loves you very much and he knows the purpose of those scars. I will pray that God tells them off

I dont know but from my experience , i.m a slim girl bt i have a lot of stretch marks which don't really make sense because i don't even have huge curves but you know i just realised now whilst writing to you that if i did not have them i would be wearing very short , shorts and skirts and boys who are exactly the kind i don't need company from would be all over me .So it's a good thing
Dear all is well with you,GOD will do the wonders for you you will even get to the point of crying sharing your testimony

Please realize...
by: Brittany

Jesus likes you. Why? Because He made you. He wants you to eat healthy foods, so you can take care of your body. He cares about you so much!!! :)Your worth so much to Him, that He (God in human form) died for all you ever did wrong. Please eat. Your a special person to me...Jesus loves you...just as you are. Go to Jesus and ask Him to help you. Dare to eat, because you'll lose your precious life if you don't. I struggled with overeating, which is an eating disorder, just not too dangerous. Please eat. I love you, Jesus loves you, and so do all these people. I will be praying for you.
