GOLD PROCESS bible study

by Iyanth
(Miami, Fla)

But He knows the way that I take He has concern for it, appreciates, and pays attention to it. When He has tried me, I shall come forth as refined gold pure and luminous? Job 23:10 AMP

I woke up with Job 23:10 on my mind and this thought came into my mind, I pray that you are encouraged by this.

I was thinking about the duties of a dental lab technician. You know, they are responsible for making partials, dentures and crowns. As you could appreciate, molds had to be made and then metals had to be used as framework for the particular project.

The amount of heat that metal HAD to be exposed was determined by its PREdetermined use. The amount of heat was specifically designed so that the metal COULD be used for what it was designed for. The metals for partials took a specific amount of heat. Though specific, it wasn't painstaking. BUT.

Crowns were another matter. We used gold. But that gold had to be "tried" put under fire so that it could used. Now let me explain the procedure.

The gold nugget would be placed into a crucible. The fire's temperature would be set and directed onto the gold nugget. Alloys had to be placed onto the nugget; those alloys were specifically designed to help make the dross (impurities) come out of the nugget, that dross would rise to the top and the fire would burn it off.

The process was slow.

The process was sure.

Note this very important point. Because the nugget was precious, it was important to never take your eyes off of that gold. Even the distance was important as well as the timing. If you took it out of the fire too soon, the gold wouldn't be ready and as a result it couldn't be used. If it had been placed too close to the fire and too long, the gold would become brittle and hard, and again, the gold could not be used.

That's why you could never take your my eyes off the gold, because you really want this gold to be used. The processing was necessary; it had a purpose and a set time. You had to wait for the time to arrive when it was ready to be used. Guess what, you know it's ready when you could see your reflection! Bless the LORD!

I just wanted to encourage you. I wanted to tell you, God got you - He has you in the palm of His hand. You are going to make it. That process you're going through is for His glory and for your good. He has a plan for your life. Seek Him to discover your purpose. Seek Him to get the grace to believe for His goodness to be seen in your life.

He has great things planned for you, for He says in Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts and plans that I have for you, says the Lord, thoughts and plans for your welfare and peace and not for evil, to give you hope in your final outcome. AMP

God bless.
