Fashionably Acceptable Swim Wear

I'm a 18 year old girl who lived on the Texas Coast for 10 years.


My friends and I used to go to the beach very often and we would wear our normal swim suit with some board shorts and a tank top over.

For me, I wore a brown one piece with some cute (lighter) brown board shorts and a aqua blue tank top, that way if my tank top went up as a result of the waves I had something under that would not go up. (my friends would usually wear a tankini under)


If we went to a swimming pool I would just take of the Tank top to get into the pool (one piece swim suits are usually not cut very low, so I was good to go)

It is very easy to cover up and still be cute.
I purchased my board shorts from Target (very reasonably priced) and you can get a tank top anywhere.

We want to look “cute” while at the same time not be a disappointment to Christ or be a stumbling block to guys. 1Timothy 2:9 reminds us that modesty is important and at times this can be difficult especially at the pool or beach. Thanks for offering some good ideas to help make this possible.
