"Discover Your Purpose"

My journey began 3 years ago when I began to ask the question "What is my purpose", Who am I, and What are my gifts and talents. As I began my search for the who, what, I wasn't seeking God for the answers. I was looking to the world, people for guidance. Only to learn they could not answer those questions, because they did not set my destination. I was bitter, angry, and felt very unloved. My search for answers grew very tiring and disappointing, because I was not moving forward. The more I searched without seeking God, the further I was moving away from Him. I was asking family members to tell me things about myself, but no one could tell me what I was looking for. I was getting involved in projects hoping that my answer would come. But once again....nothing. Until one day I asked my very spiritual friend would she mentor me to help me discover myself and Gods' purpose for my life. As I began seeking God, spending time in His Word and spending time with my mentor challenging me in unfamilar territory I began to loosing up and let someone into my world. The more time I spent seeking God and His Love for me, I began to understand that people and the world are not the answers to my desires. God began revealing all my sins before me and why I was so discontented with my life. The more I walked with God and received His love, I became less selfish,and accepted it is not about me. God began His ultimate work in me, which brings me to the christain I have evolved into. Once you allow God to direct and set you on the path He has set for you; all of your questions will get answered. The purpose is to be His instrument, The who is the Holy Spirit within you and the talents and gifts are those things He placed in you.
