Boyfriend help

Well am with this lad and we have been together for 3 months and we talk about our exs. But I don't like it when he talks about his ex because when he tells me about them, they are all better looking than me and I don't know what to do. My boyfriend says he loves me the way I am but I don't. Please help me.

Trust and Communication
by: Sarah

Hi!

Thanks for your sharing. I would like to share with you my own experiences. The two very important parts of a relationship are Trust and Communication, in addition to love. The boy that you are with, and yourself, I hope are both believers of Christ. Because the best teacher of love and the best teacher of life is Jesus, and His teachings are all found in the Bible.

Open communication is very important. That means that you and your boyfriend should be best friends, you should be able to talk about anything and everything. Especially problems. When you face problems in the relationship, like you are now, you should feel safe to talk this over with him, to share with him your feelings and emotions. Tell him how you feel and clarify what he said to you.

The next thing is Trust. When you have spoken your heart to him and he to you, you have to trust what he says. Because mistrust and doubt will only harm yourself and your partner, and cause a lot of problems. Although when you trust someone, you might get hurt, but that is part of life. God says to trust in Him. He will carry you through.

The fact that your boyfriend is with you means he accepts you for who you are, and now you have to accept yourself. Because you are fearfully and wonderfully made by God, you are His precious princess and child, and He loves you so deeply. You and I will not understand the depth of His love, but know that He is love, and He created love. Anything we know about love, it is from Him.

So pursue God, and learn from His ways, and He will make your ways straight. He will give you insight in your life and relationships.

God bless you.

In Christ,
Sarah

Talk to him
by: Heaven K

Well, if it bothers you that much, then it might not be a good idea to tell about ur guys's exs. Its easier to leave the past, the past. Trust me out of experience, and talk to him about stopping, u guys should trust each other enough to tell how they feel.

I hear you

my boyfriend does the same thing. he has dated a lot more than me and has had two serious girlfriends before me. He is my first real/ serious boyfriend so i don't have much of a relationship past to discuss with him. I do get irritated at times when he talks about ex's. Especially considering i have met one and he still spends time with her and her family.

All i can tell you to do is the same thing i do, trust them, but don't force it. If you think you can't then don't try to. Trust and love are things that come with time and care. Never falsify these feelings just to make yourself feel better or to seem like a "good" girlfriend.

Good Luck. God will let you know what to do in some way, even if you don't realize it.

by: Anonymous

Is something wrong?
by: Ebony

I'm not sure if I'm doing this asking thing right but I need some help! :P my Boyfriend and I have been dating for 3 months and it's been going great! He's like my best friend and I can tell him anything! This past week he hasn't doing the usually stuff he usually does( like send me good night texts or not send me a game invite when were both online for black ops)(btw I'm a gamer girl. ;D)
Is something wrong?
I have talked to him and asked if he's ok and he says he's fine, but he's still doing it. Is he going through a stressful time or am I over reacting? I play softball at my school and I'm very tired lately. I get very sensitive when tired. Is that's what's wrong?
Please help!
