Birthmark

When I was younger it didn't really bother me that much but now it seems like it's all I worry about :(

I have ILVEN on my leg and it's kind of a rare type of birthmark that not a lot of people have.
Anyway if I could change one thing that would be it. I love everything about myself except for my birthmark. I know it's a bigger deal to me than it is to other people but I just want to be able to look at myself in the mirror and truly love myself. Being 15 I'm sure it will get better with time, but at this point it seems like I'll never be able to truly love myself :(

Think of it as something God gave you that almost no one has. Thinking of it that way, I'm sure you have to feel special! You have something very rare! You are unique and beautiful!

My daughter was born with a strawberry birthmark on the whole side of her face. She has been teased by one other person, but the reality is, most people bypass it when she opens her mouth. She is so beautiful on the inside that it shows on the outside. This alone makes her beautiful. Perfection on the outside does not neccessarily mean that one is truly perfect. I always tell her that God kissed her right on her cheek. You've been kissed by God because He formed you just for His glory!

I have (probably the same type) of birthmark the goes all the way up my leg. Im also 15 and im very insecure already. I can't wear the same clothes that other girls wear and I feel like I can't fit in. And I know people notice it. I have the same problems :)
