what if you are beautiful to yourself, parents and other family and yet you still feel a missing part of beauty from friends and they are these beautiful immaculant girls who are popular and you feel left out because you think you're a glamorous doll but they have everything you don't with a natural no make up look you wish you had and feel a resentmant.

is there an answer?

i have been going through the same exact thing lately
and at my church we have been talking about how we shouldn tcare about what others say or think of us
and we definitley shouldnt compare ourselves to others
but anyways
i talked to my brother about this recently and he gave me a really good way to start having a better self esteem
all he said was to be confident with the way i am
i know that that sounds like a generic answer but when you really sit down and think about it, having confidence in the way that God created you instead of trying to make yourself look like what you may think is "beautiful", you not only start to view yourself as a more beautiful person but others will just be able to see your inner beauty which will shine through and become physical beauty
haha that may sound really cheezy but just think about that
dont compare yourself to others but just love you for you

What you see
by: Heather

Someone told me this week that girls look in the mirror and pick out all the bad things about themselves, but when they look at others they pick out all the good. I think this is so true! While you see all the things that you think don't make you beautiful, your friends are probably looking at you seeing all the things that do make you beautiful, and looking at themselves thinking about all the reasons they are not... The truth is that you are beautiful, and so are they! God makes each one of us perfect. We are His masterpieces, and while we are each unique, we are all still beautiful!

Psalm 139:14
I will give thanks to You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Wonderful are Your works,And my soul knows it very well.
